CESC delegation in Armenia

By the invitation of the Public Council of Armenia the delegation of the China Economic and Social Council, headed by the vice chairman Mr. Yang Anjiang made a two day visit to Armenia on September the 17th.
The first day of the visit the delegations of CESC and PCA headed by Mr. Vazgen Manukyan met with the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan.
The Prime Minister defined the cooperation of PCA and CESC as one of the vivid evidneces of the dynamic development of Armenian-Chinese relations.
Later, the two delegations were received by the Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin 2nd at Holly Etchmiandzin.
On September 19th the President of the Public Council of Armenia Mr. Vazgen Manukyan and the Vice chairman of CESC Mr.Yang Anjiang signed bilateral agreement of cooperation between the two organizations at the House of Receptions of the Government of RA.
Emphasizing the extensive history of Armenia-China relations Mr. Manukyan added that the Government of Armenia has been investing great efforts in developing economic relations with China, which are having successful results.
Stating in his turn that the history of China-Armenia relations is coming from ancient times Mr.Yang Anjiang also noted that the relations between the two countries are becoming closer closer. He also agreed with Mr. Manukyan’s formulation that the two countries need not only governmental cooperation, but also cooperation between different layers of society. In this context, he emphasized the importance of the cooperation between the two similar institutions of Armenia and China -the Public Council of Armenia and China Economic and Social Council.
Later the same day the delegation of CESC and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Armenia visited the Genocide Memorial and laid a wreath.
At the end of the visit the head of the delegation Mr.Yang Anjiang left a note in the Museum's Commemoration Book.
The same day the CESC delegation visited the «Synopsis Armenia» company.
